    What You'll Do

    As a CMA at Highland Oaks Clinic, you'll play an essential role in creating an exceptional patient experience from check-in to follow-up care. Working alongside Nurse Practitioners, Registered Dietitians, Behavioral Health Therapists, and Exercise Specialists, you'll help patients feel supported every step of their health journey.

    Your responsibilities include:

    Welcome and prepare patients for appointments by collecting vital signs, medical histories, and updating records

    Perform point-of-care testing, venipuncture, and Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) assessments

    Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)

    Assist providers with medication refill requests and communicating lab results

    Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment

    Provide front desk support and scheduling assistance when needed

    Follow infection prevention standards and assist with emergency response protocols

    Help create a positive, compassionate experience that keeps patients engaged in their care

    What You Bring

    We're looking for someone who is compassionate, dependable, and passionate about helping others improve their health.

    Qualifications:

    Current CMA, CCMA, or RMA certification through AAMA, NHA, or AMT

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

    Ability to multitask in a busy medical office

    Positive attitude and commitment to outstanding patient care

    A collaborative mindset and willingness to support your teammates

    Work Environment

    This position is based in a medical office setting. Team members should be comfortable standing for extended periods, using standard medical and office equipment, and occasionally lifting up to 20 pounds.
