Job Overview

Performs various patient care activities and related support services necessary in caring for the personal needs, comfort, and safety of all Radiology Patients. Aids the professional staff and works under the direction of the registered technologist or registered nurse. Assist with MRI and remote MRI operations. Provides assistance to MRI Technologists, Radiologists and/or administrative staff to provide optimal MRI safety and patient care. They will convey patient history to the MRI Technologist for accurate MRI safety, assist MRI Technologists to ensure MRI safety, coil positioning, patient screening and/or history and patient observation during exams. Clerical duties include schedule maintenance, exam verification, patient medical records, routing documents and other tasks as assigned. MRI safety is the top priority and responsibility.

What You Will Need

• Graduation certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program or graduation from an accredited nursing program required.
• Experience preferred but not required.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

• Current certification from either the American Association of Medical Assistants, the American Medical Technologist as a Medical Assistant, or certificate from the NHA(National Health career Association). Required

• CPR provider certification Required
