Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

We are seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support a fast paced employee health clinic. The ideal candidate will have strong phlebotomy skills, excellent patient care abilities, and at least one year of Medical Assistant experience.

Schedule

8 hour shifts scheduled between 7:15 AM and 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and assist with check in and clinic flow
• Obtain and document vital signs and patient medical histories
• Perform blood draws and specimen collection with a high level of proficiency
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
• Assist providers with clinical procedures and patient care
• Perform basic clinical testing as directed
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record
• Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and equipment
• Follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality requirements
• Provide professional and compassionate support to employees utilizing the clinic
• Perform additional clinical and administrative duties as needed

Qualifications

• Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience
• Strong phlebotomy skills required
• Experience with EPIC preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and technology skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced employee health environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellent patient care
