Responsibilities

• Safely administer medications according to orders, facility policies, and state regulations.
• Accurately document medications administered.
• Monitor residents and report changes in condition to the appropriate nurse.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.
• Follow medication administration and safety procedures.
• Communicate effectively with residents and healthcare staff.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment.

Requirements

• Active South Dakota CMA/Medication Aide certification
• Current TB test and physical
• Reliable transportation
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Dependable and compassionate
• Experience is not required — new CMAs are welcome!
