Cloud Systems Engineer (TS/SCI required)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 
Candidate is responsible for building and maintaining the cloud native system.  Candidate must readily adapt to changing requirements; keep up-to-date on emerging technologies; and be ready to help implement these new products and technologies to enhance the system.  

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience with Linux (Red Hat and CentOS desired)  
• Enterprise Service – Active Directory, LDAP, DNS  
• System security, hardening, and accreditation (e.g. DCID 6/3, ICD-503)
• Automated OS and cloud infrastructure installation  
• Cloud virtualization  
• Configuration and use of – nat, dns, ldap, nis, nfs, iptables, free ipa  
• System performance monitoring, and tuning  
• Performing, monitoring, and designing system backup plans  
• Create, debug, and enhance scripts (e.g. bash, csh, Perl, ruby, python, expect)  
• Automate repetitive tasks  
• Basic knowledge of switching, routing, IP addressing, and networks  
• Experience with multicast  
• Train others on system maintenance duties  
• Source code control systems, both use and administration (cvs, subversion, git)  
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Gluster, Ceph  

EDUCATION:
A Bachelor’s degree in computer related discipline is desired but not mandatory. Candidate may substitute relevant work experience.
