AtWork Personnel is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect 3 for a long-term contract opportunity with the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC). This position is responsible for supporting and architecting a regulated, enterprise-scale multi-cloud environment spanning Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with a strong focus on data platforms, AI technologies, cloud operations, security, monitoring, and system reliability.

The Cloud Solutions Architect will provide architectural leadership and operational support for cloud computing initiatives across a complex enterprise environment. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure, data platforms, AI services, integrations, and operational processes while ensuring security, compliance, and high availability.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Azure, GCP, enterprise AI platforms, cloud monitoring solutions, data integration technologies, and production support in highly regulated environments.

• Work Schedule: Hybrid (3 days remote / 2 days onsite)
• Onsite Days: Monday and Wednesday (subject to change)
• Location: 701 W. 51st Street, Austin, TX 78751
• Contract Term: September 1, 2026 through August 31, 2027
• Possible Extensions: Up to three additional one-year renewals

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise cloud solutions across Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Support cloud-based data platforms, analytics environments, and AI technologies including Vertex AI and Gemini
• Develop and maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational support solutions
• Support Informatica Cloud (IICS) integrations, APIs, and data movement processes
• Implement security best practices, IAM controls, audit logging, and compliance requirements
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues in a 24x7 enterprise environment
• Collaborate with infrastructure, engineering, data, vendors, and business teams to ensure platform reliability and performance

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with Azure and GCP cloud platforms
• 8+ years supporting enterprise cloud infrastructure, data platforms, and analytics environments
• 8+ years working with AI/GenAI technologies, including Vertex AI and Gemini
• 8+ years of experience with cloud monitoring, logging, and alerting tools
• 8+ years of experience with Informatica IICS, APIs, and integration patterns
• Strong knowledge of cloud security, IAM, compliance, and regulated environments
• Experience supporting production environments and resolving Tier 2/3 issues

Preferred Qualifications

• Tableau Cloud administration
• ArcGIS or geospatial data integration experience
• Python or Bash scripting
• CI/CD and automation experience
• Docker, Kubernetes (AKS/GKE), and microservices
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills
