    One of our clients is seeking a qualified Cloud Security Engineer to join its cybersecurity team. This position offers the opportunity to work on strategic cloud security initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and contribute to the organization's security posture across cloud and hybrid environments.

    Position Summary

    The Cloud Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security controls across cloud platforms, with a focus on protecting critical business systems, applications, and data. The ideal candidate will have experience securing cloud environments, managing identity and access controls, conducting risk assessments, and supporting compliance initiatives.

    This role requires a strong understanding of cloud security best practices, threat detection, incident response, and security governance.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design and implement security controls for AWS, Azure, and hybrid cloud environments.
    • Configure and manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions.
    • Conduct cloud security assessments and risk analyses.
    • Monitor cloud environments for security threats and vulnerabilities.
    • Develop and maintain cloud security policies, standards, and procedures.
    • Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, and application teams to embed security into cloud deployments.
    • Support compliance initiatives, audits, and regulatory requirements.
    • Investigate security incidents and coordinate remediation activities.
    • Implement Zero Trust security principles and best practices.
    • Recommend and deploy cloud security tools to improve visibility and protection.

    Required Qualifications

    Education

    • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

    Experience

    • 5+ years of cybersecurity experience.
    • 3+ years of hands-on cloud security experience.
    • Experience securing Azure, AWS, or multi-cloud environments.
    • Experience supporting enterprise security and compliance programs.
