Title: Cloud Platform Manager
Location: Remote
Employment Type: Full Time
Compensation:
Pay Range:$150,000-$170,000 Per Year
Description
The role involves managing cloud platform engineering teams in a remote, full-time capacity.
Responsibilities include hands-on technical leadership in a multi-cloud environment, utilizing various cloud technologies.
The ideal candidate should have experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure code, and managing distributed teams.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to cloud architecture, infrastructure code, and production troubleshooting.
Lead a globally distributed team of engineers, setting priorities and balancing project delivery with operations.
Manage budgets, capacity plans, and vendor relationships while applying cost optimization practices.
Support application platforms and manage engineering across multiple cloud providers.
Develop reusable platform services and self-service deployment paths for engineering teams.
Qualifications
Extensive experience designing and operating production workloads on cloud platforms.
Proven leadership skills in managing onshore and offshore engineering teams.
Hands-on knowledge of cloud IAM, networking, and security controls.
Experience with infrastructure as code tools and CI/CD pipelines.
Ability to lead cloud operations practices including incident response and root cause analysis.
