Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor database and system performance using CloudWatch metrics, alarms, and logs; troubleshoot proactively.
  • Develop, deploy, and optimize AI/ML solutions using AWS services like SageMaker and Bedrock for model training, inference, and production integration.
  • Automate tasks using AWS Lambda, Systems Manager (SSM), and IaC tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
  • Design scalable data processing workflows with AWS services including API Gateway, S3, EC2, RDS, Glue, Athena, DynamoDB, EMR, Kinesis, DataSync.
  • Integrate agentic AI systems, LLM-based agents, multi-agent workflows using LangChain and LangGraph.
  • Implement ETL/ELT pipelines supporting ML, analytics, and agent-based applications.
  • Support CI/CD for AI models and data workflows using Jenkins, ECS, EKS, or Kubernetes.
  • Apply security best practices: IAM least-privilege, encryption, audit logging, compliance controls.
  • Maintain documentation for AI architectures, data pipelines, infrastructure, and runbooks.
Required Skills and Experience:
Technical Skills:
  • 7+ years hands-on AWS: EC2, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, IAM, KMS, AWS Backup, Lambda.
  • 7+ years Linux/Unix administration and scripting (Bash, Shell, Python).
  • 7+ years IaC/automation: CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible.
  • 7+ years AWS networking: VPC, subnets, NACLs, security groups, Route 53, multi-AZ.
  • 5+ years CI/CD, Jenkins, IaC for AI/ML deployment, MLOps with Kubernetes/ECS/EKS.
  • 4+ years scalable data workflows: AWS services, Python (incl. PySpark), ETL/ELT patterns.
  • 4+ years AWS AI/ML: SageMaker, Bedrock, OpenSearch (vector DBs).
  • Strong ML knowledge: algorithms, NLP, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face.
Functional Skills:
  • Architecting data platforms and AI integrations.
  • Performance monitoring and proactive troubleshooting.
  • Behavioral Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving for scalable, secure cloud environments.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years total relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • NY local resident preferred.
  • English native or bilingual proficiency.
