This role focuses on ensuring network connectivity, performance, security, and segmentation while collaborating with cloud platform, security, and cyber engineering teams to support resilient network architectures. U.S. citizenship is required for this position due to the requirements of the supporting U.S. government contract. Key Responsibilities(Principal Duties and Accountabilities *Essential Functions) Design, implement, configure, and maintain network infrastructure across cloud-based and hybrid environments.Manage routing, switching, VPN, and network security configurations to ensure secure and reliable connectivity.Monitor network performance, availability, and connectivity to identify and resolve potential issues.Troubleshoot network connectivity, latency, routing, and performance issues to minimize disruptions.Configure, maintain, and optimize firewall rules, routing policies, and VPN connections.Implement and enforce network segmentation, access controls, and traffic management policies to maintain a secure network environment.Collaborate with cloud platform, security, and cyber engineering teams to design and maintain resilient network architectures.Support network-related incident response activities, including troubleshooting, investigation, and remediation.Implement and support secure network configuration changes while minimizing operational impact.Maintain accurate documentation of network topology, configurations, change history, and established standards.Identify opportunities to improve network reliability, performance, security, and operational efficiency.Ensure cloud network infrastructure remains secure, reliable, and aligned with organizational requirements and best practices.
