Cloud Network Engineer (Sr)

Experience designing, deploying, and supporting networking within major cloud platforms such as Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), GCP, and/or AWS. Manage and support Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco VPN concentrators, Cisco CSR devices, routers, load balancers, and other cloud networking technologies.

MUST:
Experienced Cloud Network Engineer (Sr.)
Must be able to obtain a Treasury Public Trust
7+ years of related experience Strong hands-on cloud network engineering experience
Strong experience with Terraform
Hands-on experience deploying AWS Security Groups using Terraform
Experience with AWS EKS clusters
Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls
Experience with Cisco networking technologies and devices
Experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco IPsec using AES-256, firewalls, IPS, route-maps, and Network Access Control Lists (NACLs)
Experience designing, deploying, and supporting networking within major cloud platforms such as Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), GCP, and/or AWS
Strong understanding of cloud networking, Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), subnets, and cloud network security
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking and IEEE 802.1 standards
Strong knowledge of DNS, DHCP, TFTP, NAT, SSL, VPN, BGP, and OSPF
Experience with routers, firewalls, load balancers, VPN concentrators, QoS, and Network Access Control
Experience with software-defined networking (SDN) and virtual networking technologies
Experience with cloud Identity and Access Management (IAM)
Strong understanding of cloud security best practices
Experience performing network monitoring, troubleshooting, capacity planning, and performance analysis
Experience providing Level 2/3 network support and troubleshooting
Working knowledge of DoD STIGs and IA Vulnerability Management (IAVM)
Ability to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation
Azure Fundamentals, GCP, or Oracle Cloud certification desired
CCNP or higher certification desired
CCIE and/or CISSP
Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) desired
BS/MS Degree required

DUTIES:
Design, implement, configure, and support network infrastructure across enterprise cloud environments
Support networking across multi-cloud environments including Azure, OCI, GCP, and AWS
Manage and support Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco VPN concentrators, Cisco CSR devices, routers, load balancers, and other cloud networking technologies
Design and deploy cloud network architectures, VPCs, subnets, routing, and security configurations
Develop and maintain Terraform configurations supporting cloud network infrastructure
Deploy and manage AWS Security Groups using Terraform
Support networking associated with AWS EKS clusters
Configure and troubleshoot Cisco IPsec VPNs, firewalls, IPS, route-maps, and NACLs
Implement cloud network security controls and security best practices
Configure and support TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, TFTP, NAT, SSL, VPN, BGP, and OSPF
Support software-defined networking and virtual networking environments
Configure and support cloud Identity and Access Management technologies
Install and maintain routers, firewalls, load balancers, VPN technologies, QoS, and Network Access Control
Perform network maintenance, upgrades, patches, hot fixes, and security configuration updates
Collaborate with network administrators and engineers to deploy, manage, and troubleshoot cloud network infrastructure
Monitor network performance, availability, reliability, and resource utilization
Perform capacity planning and analyze network performance trends
Identify network issues and implement corrective actions
Provide Level 2/3 technical support and troubleshooting
Support applicable DoD STIG and IAVM security requirements
Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation
