    At Schwab, the Cloud Services organization within Schwab Technology Services (STS) empowers Schwab's development teams with an easy to use, self-service catalog of operationalized, secure cloud products meeting Schwab's regulatory requirements that exceed Client expectations. The organization's mission is to operationalize Schwab's cloud capabilities to enable the scalable and secure migration of Enterprise applications to our multi-cloud infrastructure.

    What you have

    This Cloud Network Engineer will work closely with other cloud network engineers, cloud security engineers, data center engineers, application developers, and internal/external customers to provide and maintain cloud solutions. The individual must have worked in an Enterprise Environment that includes experience in large scale cloud solutions supporting virtualized workloads. This position requires hands on experience and ability to test/validate, troubleshoot and implement cloud-based solutions.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting technology environments networking and system administration
    • Minimum of 1 year technical experience with cloud support in Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Provider (GCP)
    • Experience with Cloud Networking technologies (Load Balancing, Service Mesh, NAT, DNS, VPC, VPN, Dedicated Connections, Routers, Firewalls)
    • Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, Salt or similar automation tools are a benefit as all provisioning includes Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
    • Familiarity with SCM and DevOps tool suites; examples include Git, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Jenkins, Concourse etc.
    • Experience with operational processes to insure high availability and service of the entire technology stack
    • Troubleshooting skills in cloud and hybrid cloud to data center service deployments
    • Experience with supporting mission critical, 24x7 systems
    • Experience troubleshooting with log aggregators like Splunk/CloudWatch/Cloud Monitoring desired.
    • Proficient in the use of Network tools used for evaluating network conditions.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum, experience adopting or leading continuous integration and continuous delivery concepts and frameworks
    • Experience with Cloud Compute (e.g. EC2, GCE, Fargate, Cloud Run, etc.)
    • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cyber Security, related degree field OR related practical experience
    • Cloud Provider Certification is a plus
    • Experience in the Financial Services industry is a plus

    In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities
