Our client is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join a growing cloud operations team supporting large-scale enterprise environments across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This is an excellent opportunity for a cloud professional who enjoys infrastructure automation, DevOps, and solving complex technical challenges in a modern multi-cloud environment.
In this fully remote role, you'll help design, build, support, and optimize cloud infrastructure while working alongside application, security, and infrastructure teams to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable cloud solutions.
Design, deploy, and support cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, GCP, and hybrid environments.
Partner with application teams to deploy and maintain cloud-hosted applications.
Build and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform.
Develop automation for infrastructure provisioning, deployments, monitoring, and configuration management.
Monitor production environments and troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and platform issues.
Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous operational improvements.
Implement monitoring, alerting, backup, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions.
Ensure cloud environments meet security, governance, and compliance standards.
Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps initiatives using GitHub and automation tools.
Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
Recommend improvements that increase reliability, efficiency, and automation across cloud operations.
1+ year of hands-on experience supporting AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
Experience administering Windows and/or Linux servers
Knowledge of PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripting
Understanding of cloud networking, DNS, firewalls, load balancing, and storage
Experience with enterprise monitoring and alerting tools
Familiarity with GitHub and CI/CD concepts
Understanding of cloud security, identity and access management, and governance
Knowledge of ITIL principles and enterprise IT operations
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Cloud certification in AWS, Azure, or GCP
Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban)
Experience supporting enterprise production environments
