A healthcare organization in New Jersey is seeking a Cloud FinOps & Technology Licensing Lead to join their team in Newark. About the Opportunity:

Responsibilities:
Analyze and optimize AWS and Azure cloud consumption to identify cost reduction opportunities and improve resource utilization.
Develop cloud cost reporting, forecasting, budgeting, showback, and chargeback processes with executive-level visibility into spend and savings.
Monitor cloud spending trends and partner with engineering and application teams to implement FinOps best practices.
Manage technology licensing and software asset optimization across enterprise platforms and maintain related processes and standards.
Support vendor negotiations, renewals, true-ups, and software audits through licensing analysis and usage data.

Qualifications:
10+ years of IT experience, including 7+ years of hands-on experience in FinOps, cloud financial management, technology licensing, software asset management, or a related discipline
Bachelor's degree in information technology, finance, computer science, or a related field
Hands-on experience managing AWS and Azure cloud costs in an enterprise environment
Strong understanding of AWS and Azure services, pricing models, billing structures, and cloud cost optimization techniques
Experience with cloud cost management tools such as AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, CloudHealth, Cloudability, Apptio, or Flexera
Experience managing enterprise software licensing programs
Experience creating financial reports, forecasts, business cases, and cost optimization recommendations
Experience working directly with engineering teams to implement cloud governance and optimization practices

Desired Skills:
Industry certifications related to AWS or Azure
Advanced Excel, reporting, and financial modeling capabilities
Experience with software compliance, audit management, and technology asset management
Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
Ability to translate technical consumption data into actionable financial recommendations
