Maintaining developer tooling necessary to code with Go:
VSCode Extension + critical packages
Vanguard Base Go Docker Image
Go GitHub Workflow
Go GitHub Workflow Library
Coder Dotfiles
Monorepo Tooling
Creating and maintaining documentation on the Go Language in Vanguard
Publishing newsletters on the availability of Go language versions and tooling in Vanguard, deprecations, notices, etc.
Monitoring applications within Vanguard utilizing Go tooling to address concerns such as:
Security vulnerabilities
Bad practices
Deprecated components
Encouraging and enforcing best practices in Go via centralized library availability, linters, etc.
Consultations for development teams within GIFS looking to adopt Go for their next projects.
