Cloud Engineer

Introduction

We are seeking a talented Cloud Platform Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data lakehouse patterns and a passion for enabling business intelligence, reporting, and data science at an enterprise scale.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with data lakehouse patterns, optimized storage formats, and metadata-driven ingestion.
• Expertise in real-time and batch data ingestion architectures such as Kafka/Event Hubs, Spark, Delta Lake, etc.
• Experience with enterprise data governance frameworks, including data lineage, cataloging, and data quality controls.
• Technical Skills: AWS or Azure Data Platform Services, POSTGRES/ORACLE/DB2, COLLIBRA, DATABRICKS, DELTA LAKE, PYTHON, SNOWFLAKE, ETL TOOLS (SPARK, ETC), CI/CD PIPELINES SUPPORTING DATA LAKEHOUSE.
• Prior work experience at a client or in the client's industry.

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with additional cloud services and platforms.
• Advanced knowledge of data security and compliance standards.
• Proven track record of successful project delivery in a similar role.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable cloud solutions for data ingestion and integration.
• Maintain and enhance data governance frameworks to ensure data quality and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support BI, reporting, and data science initiatives.
