? Now Hiring: Cloud Engineer (Cybersecurity & Data Protection) ?

? Location: Plano, TX or McLean, VA (Remote candidates will be considered)

? Rate: Up to $70.00 hr

? W2 Contract Only

? Interview Process: One-hour Zoom interview with the hiring manager and team

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer with expertise in Cybersecurity, Cryptography, Cloud Infrastructure, and Data Protection to support mission-critical enterprise security initiatives.

What You'll Do

? Lead complex technology projects focused on cryptography, cloud security, distributed systems, and regulatory compliance.

? Partner with Cyber Product Managers and Architects to deliver secure, cloud-native solutions that protect sensitive financial data.

? Assess cybersecurity risks related to data confidentiality, integrity, and cryptographic threats.

? Design and implement cryptographic solutions including:

• Encryption
• Hashing
• Digital Signatures
• Secure Key Management

? Enhance and mature enterprise cryptography governance, standards, policies, and controls.

? Serve as the lead SME supporting a mission-critical Protegrity Data Encryption and Tokenization environment.

? Automate and manage large-scale Linux environments using:

• Ansible Automation Platform
• RHEL Administration
• Terraform Enterprise

? Support AWS serverless deployments and integrations with Protegrity Cloud Protector.

? Implement and maintain Protegrity Fuse File Encryption solutions for encryption at rest.

? Maintain and enhance Protegrity Data Protection policies and integrations with platforms including Snowflake and Teradata.

Required Qualifications

?? Bachelor's Degree

?? 3+ years of Cyber Security Engineering experience

?? 2+ years of Cryptography experience

?? 2+ years of Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

?? 2+ years of Linux/Unix Administration experience

?? 2+ years of SELinux experience

?? 2+ years of experience with Protegrity Data Protection solutions

?? 2+ years of DevOps experience using Ansible Automation Platform

?? 2+ years of experience using Terraform Enterprise

Preferred Qualifications

? 7+ years of Cyber Security Engineering experience

? 4+ years of experience with the Protegrity Data Protection Platform

? Experience with:

• Python
• SQL
• Java
• JavaScript
• Golang
• Bash
• Perl
• Ruby

? Experience with Linux file systems and storage technologies:

• FUSE
• GPFS
• NFS

? Knowledge of:

• High Availability
• Clustering
• Fault Tolerance
• Replication
• Agile Development Practices
• DevOps Principles
