    Description

    Requirements
    • 6 or more years of experience in SQL Server administration, with deep expertise managing Azure SQL Managed Instances.
    • Proficiency in Python or PowerShell for automating database administration tasks.
    • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and database CI/CD pipeline development.
    • Experience with Snowflake role management and access control administration.
    • Experience partnering with SRE and Data Engineering teams on monitoring, observability, and scalability.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    Responsibilities
    • Manage, optimize, and secure production database systems across cloud environments.
    • Perform root-cause analysis on recurring database issues and implement permanent engineering solutions.
    • Drive Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment patterns for database platforms.
    • Partner with SRE and Data Engineering teams to enhance monitoring, observability, and scalability.
    • Manage query optimization, performance tuning, and access control, including Snowflake role management.
    • Leverage AI-assisted tools to reduce manual DBA processes and build self-healing infrastructure.
