Title: Cloud Data Infrastructure Engineering Specialist
Description:
The candidate will have a strong background in working with big data technologies in Azure and AWS cloud environments.
The role will focus in helping the Firm evaluate, adopt and support big data solutions in the cloud.
Qualifications: At least 3 years of relevant experience
Broad understanding of database technologies, BI tools, and general engineering
Hands on experience and expertise with various big data technologies in AWS and Azure.
Significant experience designing and implementing large-scale data intensive applications and data lakes.
Experience in migrating large scale data intensive applications from on-prem to Azure and/or AWS
Experience and solid understanding of products such as Azure Databricks,
Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL and Azure Synapse as well as other products in Azure Data suite
Expertise and experience in querying data using both SQL and NoSQL
Knowledge of Data Security, Data Masking and Data Encryption techniques
Knowledge of Kafka or other messaging platforms is a plus
Strong understanding of WAN, VPN and Enterprise networking concepts
Strong understanding of data security concepts and methods, specific to Azure-hosted workloads
Experience automating IT processes and in particular with Terraform for managing cloud resources
Experience creating technical architecture documentation? Strong communication, written, and interpersonal skills
