Job Overview
The Clinical Vocational Supervisor (CVS) will provide expert clinical oversight and ensure compliance with service requirements under the current Regional Behavioral Health Authority (RBHA), AHCCCS. This full-time, on-site role involves working closely with clients and staff to improve vocational outcomes through individualized counseling and training.
Responsibilities
Monitor, review and approve clinical assessments and client service plans completed by the intake team to ensure accuracy, clinical standards, and compliance with RBHA requirements.
Monitor and evaluate the clinical performance of BHTs and assist with implementing improvement plans as needed.
Assist in the updating of clinical, intake, program, and tracking forms as needed to meet funding source needs (RBHA), client needs, and program census.
Foster a collaborative work environment and lead the BHT staff through transitions and continuous learning.
Assist in the development and delivery of bi-weekly, hour-long training sessions for our Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs), focused on mental health issues in workplace settings, such as but not limited to teaching vocational skills, coping mechanisms, and SAMHSA-approved topics.
Keep records of BHT Oversight Training attendance and compliance.
Provide one-on-one vocational counseling sessions with clients who have requested the service to support their employment goals and address barriers related to mental health.
Write clinical notes on the services provided to clients.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required::
High School Diploma or GED required Minimum of three (3) years of industry-related experience, including at least one (1) year in a supervisory role. At least 1 of the following licenses (must be current and active): LCSW LPC LISAC Psychiatrist LAC Physician Physician Assistant Psychologist Board Certified Behavioral Analyst LBSW LMSW LAMFT RN-licensed as an adult psychiatric & mental health nurse LMFT LPC is preferred
Preferred:
LPC 3-5 years of work experience in behavioral health, social work, or similar field.
Self-motivated and self-starting work style.
Ability to problem solve and meet deadlines.
Ability to initiate and maintain self-organizational systems to ensure job tasks are completed as expected.
Experience with AHCCCS or other RHBA systems and requirements
Proven experience in clinical oversight and vocational counseling.
