Colleyville Vision Associates is an upscale, independently owned optometry practice that has served our community for 23 years. We combine advanced eye care with the personal attention and long-term relationships that distinguish a private practice.
We are seeking a friendly, compassionate, and capable Optometric Technician who enjoys working with people and wants to continue developing their clinical skills and provide a superior vision experience.
Your Mission
To help provide an exceptional patient experience by preparing each patient thoroughly and compassionately for their examination, assisting our doctors, and ensuring that every patient feels comfortable, heard, and well cared for.
What You’ll Do
- Welcome patients and prepare them for their eye examinations
- Obtain and document accurate medical and ocular histories utilizing EMR
- Perform preliminary testing and diagnostic imaging
- Assist doctors during examinations and clinical procedures
- Educate patients about contact lenses, medications, testing, and follow-up care
- Assist with contact-lens training, ordering, and follow-up visits
- Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked clinical areas
- Communicate important information accurately to doctors and team members
- Help keep patient care moving smoothly while maintaining warmth and attention to detail
- Continue learning about eye conditions, technology, treatments, and patient-care procedures

- Has contact-lens experience or an interest in developing this specialty

Position and Benefits

- Early Friday closure at 1:30 p.m.
