Location: University Hospital - on-site with some flexibility to work hybrid up to 2 days a week remotely.
Position: Clinical Transplant Coordinator - Living Kidney Donor Transplant Program
Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00a-4:30p with some flexibility with hours, option to work (4) 10-hour shifts, on-call expectations
The Clinical Transplant Coordinator fulfills the primary responsibilities of coordinating the multidisciplinary approach in the evaluation, treatment, and facilitation of the transplant process, including follow-up care for organ recipients and donors. The role emphasizes collaboration, coordination, and consultation with nursing leadership, primary nurses, and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless transplant care.

Position Overview:
The Clinical Transplant Coordinator manages the complex transplant process by organizing multidisciplinary efforts, ensuring compliance with protocols, and supporting both patient and donor care. This position acts as a liaison among team members, fostering collaboration and contributing to positive patient outcomes throughout the transplant journey. The coordinator plays a vital role in tracking care activities, managing projects, and providing education to patients and families.
