    Description

    The Clinical Support Representative provides front office support to ensure compassionate and professional care for patients and an effective and efficient front office workflow. This position will primarily support the Pediatrics and Women's Health suites.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    •High School diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or higher preferred, but not required
    •Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English (Spanish beneficial)
    •Medical Front Office or administrative experience, preferably at an FQHC
    •MS Word, Excel, and Outlook experience required
    •Knowledge of insurance verification; dental, medical, and behavioral health
    •Must have reliable transportation to be able to travel to different locations
    •Must be flexible with schedule (able to work different times and weekends)
    •Advanced understanding of medical insurance as it relates to appointment scheduling

    KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Serve as a backup for Front Office team members as needed.
    • Verify patient insurance to support accurate billing
    • Participate in required meetings, training sessions, and committees
    • Provide front office support for the Pediatrics and Women's Health suites, including patient check-in/check-out, appointment scheduling, and coordination with clinical staff

    • Assist with provider schedule changes, answering service messages, telephone encounters, emails, and correspondence from other ELFHCC staff.

    Compensation:Salary commensuratewith educationand experience.
