    What you will do:
    The Clinical Supervisor is a Registered Nurse who functions under his or her own license and assumes accountability and responsibility for quality of care provided to patients and their families according to the Standards of Nursing Practice. The Clinical Supervisor assists with interpretation, direction, evaluation of nursing practice and the coordinator of service through the use of clinical, management and leadership skills. Also, responsible for management of resources to ensure optimal patient care.
     
    Required Education: 
    Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

    Preferred Education:
    Graduate of a BSN program or actively enrolled in one

    Required Skills:
    Patient Care assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Must communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Knowledge and ability to perform skills necessary for unit specific competencies, to include age specific competencies. Advanced competencies as defined by demonstrated participation in formal Continuing Nursing Education activities.

    Required Licensure/Registration/Certification:
    Current and unrestricted Texas license as a Registered Nurse, Certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program.

    Required Experience:
    At least 2 years labor and delivery experience
