We are looking for a dynamic Clinical Supervisor to lead our OR and Pre/Post-Op teams in delivering world-class surgical care.
Status: Full-Time (80 hours/pay period)
The Role
As Clinical Supervisor, you are the heartbeat of our clinical operations. You won't just manage schedules; you will mentor staff, ensure peak clinical standards, and collaborate directly with physicians and anesthesia teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Direct daily flow in the OR and Pre/Post-Op areas to ensure safe, efficient patient care.
- Team Development: Handle staff management, including hiring, scheduling, and providing real-time feedback and team-building.
- Clinical Excellence: Serve as the go-to resource for evidence-based practice, regulatory compliance, and accreditation standards.
- Quality & Safety: Active member of the Quality Improvement and Infection Prevention Committees; performing QA/PI activities to keep us at the forefront of the industry.
- Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders and physicians to interpret policies and solve procedural challenges.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Licensure: Active Nebraska RN license (or compact state license with NE residency declared within 30 days).
- Certifications: Current BLS required. ACLS and PALS must be obtained within 90 days.
- Experience: Previous surgical care and management experience is highly preferred.
- Ambition: CNOR (or departmental specialty certification) is preferred, with a goal to obtain it within one year of hire.
