Pay rate: $47,902-$51,000/annually
SUMMARY
Provides clinical supervision to therapists and clinical staff in community based, outpatient, or intensive outpatient mental health and/or substance abuse services to individuals, groups, families and couples. Overseeing the therapy services provided to people served, development and implementation of service plans, and ensuring the quality of the services. Regularly reviews documentation to ensure compliance. Proactively addresses any concerns with respect to therapeutic services. Supervises staff as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directs and supervises assigned staff including performance evaluations, scheduling, orientation, and training. Makes decisions on employee hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, discipline, terminations, and similar actions. Resolves employee problems within position responsibilities.

State Specific Requirements
North Carolina CFS Intensive Outpatient: This positon is the Qualified Professional and is required to hold one of the following licenses:
An individual who holds a license, provisional license, certificate, registration or permit issued by the governing board regulating a human service profession, except a registered nurse who is licensed to practice in the State of North Carolina by the North Carolina Board of Nursing who also has four years of full-time accumulated experience in mh/dd/sa with the population served;
A graduate of a college or university with a Master's degree in a human service field and has one year of full-time, pre- or post-graduate degree accumulated supervised mh/dd/sa experience with the population served, or a substance abuse professional who has one year of full-time, pre- or post-graduate degree accumulated supervised experience in alcoholism and drug abuse counseling;
A graduate of a college or university with a bachelor s degree in a human service field and has two years of full-time, pre- or post-bachelor s degree accumulated supervised mh/dd/sa experience with the population served, or a substance abuse professional who has two years of full-time, pre- or post-bachelor s degree accumulated supervised experience in alcoholism and drug abuse counseling;
A graduate of a college or university with a bachelor s degree in a field other than human services and has four years of full-time, pre- or post-bachelor s degree accumulated supervised mh/dd/sa experience with the population served, or a substance abuse professional who has four years of full-time, pre- or post-bachelor s degree accumulated supervised experience in alcoholism and drug abuse counseling.
Other Skills and Abilities:
