This position will support the BiPolar Action Network, a national resource dedicated to aimed at improving care and outcomes for individuals living with bipolar disorder through uniting healthcare organizations, patients, caregivers, and researchers. The study coordinator will serve as the primary liaison with the Network; Coordinate team activities and manages deadlines; Lead data collection, validation, and submission processes; Manage IRB submissions and ceding process to central IRB; Support financial processes including payment inquiries for any participation and reimbursements in future research; Coordinate onboarding and involvement of patient/family partners.

Responsibilities

Coordinate technical and administrative details of research studies, supporting Principal Investigators in implementing protocols and procedures. Assess protocol clarity and criteria, and address concerns with the PI and sponsor. Participate in meetings to advise on assignments and timelines. Obtain necessary documentation and maintain accurate records. Coordinate facility and equipment availability as required. Report adverse events and document deviations as necessary. Assist with data management, including completing, auditing, and correcting records. Support budget negotiations and maintain documentation per regulatory guidelines. Manage documents and ensure proper data handling. Perform additional research support tasks as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT: 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience (Example: bachelor's degree = 4 years of directly related work experience).

Clinical Study Coordinator, III: Requires a bachelor's (or equivalency) + 6 years or a master's (or equivalency) + 4 years of directly related work experience.

Preferences

Orientation to detail, familiarity with the EPIC electronic health records system, experience with Zoom and Microsoft Teams for virtual meetings.
