Job Purpose: This position is responsible for creating, designing, implementing, and continually improving training programs for nurses and allied health clinicians.
Essential Functions: (Examples of Duties)
Participates in strategic planning with the Director of Compliance and Training and other senior staff to identify trends in clinical care and related future training.
Performs training needs analysis to gather information and target future training opportunities. Evaluates current programs for relevance and successful outcomes.
Develops and administers training assessment, analyzes results, makes recommendations for training improvement, and integrates changes in curriculum and/or courses.
Assist in the onboarding of new providers by completing 1:1 EHR training and follows up with them by department shadowing to ensure training was effective and is applied.
Assist in the onboarding of new clinical staff. Determine and communicate competencies to specific department supervisors.
Coaches and facilitates the professional development and clinical abilities of clinical staff.
Presents a variety of clinical training programs. Conducts train-the-trainer sessions to enable others to teach these programs.
Plans and organizes short and long term projects and maintains high quality planning documents.
Monitors various reports to ensure accuracy and quality in care.
Leads and participates in various clinical committees.
Maintains contact and relationships with vaccine representatives to keep the practice abreast of vaccine updates.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Licenses/Certifications: Current RN state license or other license/certification related to clinical specialty. Current CPR certificate required.
Working Conditions: This is a full-time onsite position. Contact with staff, patients and outside organizations.
Physical Demands: Requires frequent sitting, occasional standing. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity to operate telephone, computer, copy machine etc. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record and prepare reports and communicate appropriately.
