Position Summary/Department Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Clinical Social Worker to join our outpatient, multidisciplinary teams in the Center for Inflammatory Bowel Disease and additional Core GI Clinics including Celiac Disease Center, within the Gastroenterology Department. This is a large, vibrant, fast-paced clinic. This is a 36 hour a week, hybrid position, and involves providing a range of clinical social work services and care coordination to patients and families navigating Crohn's Disease, Ulcerative Colitis, Celiac Disease and other GI diagnoses.
This role requires specialized support and comfort in areas including parent coaching, school reintegration and advocacy, chronic illness adjustment, family dynamics and child protection concerns. The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical judgment, and a nuanced understanding of how psychosocial stressors intersect with pediatric medical conditions.

This schedule is Monday-Friday. Alternating Mondays are at our Needham satellite (free parking!) with the multi-disciplinary team, with other Mondays remote. Friday mornings will be on site in Boston. The additional days will be a combo of Boston/remote.
This 36-hour position is eligible for full-time benefits!
New hires are eligible for a $4,500 sign on bonus!
The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.
Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
