Job Description:
The Clinical Simulation Operations Specialist / Simulation RN is a professional who integrates clinical nursing expertise with operational, technical, and educational support to advance experiential learning at the University of Florida College of Nursing. This position plays a critical role in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of high‑ and low‑fidelity simulation experiences within the Kirbo Innovation and Learning Laboratory.
Working in close collaboration with faculty and the NRC Director, the Simulation RN ensures that simulation activities align with current clinical practice standards, the INACSL Standards of Best Practice, and Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH) guidelines. In addition, this role provides leadership in simulation operations and analytics by generating recurring reports, maintaining utilization and outcomes dashboards, and translating data‑driven insights into actionable improvements in partnership with the Director and course faculty.

Evening coverage and scheduled weekend shifts may be required to support intensives, OSCEs, make‑ups, and maintenance activities. Occasional on‑call support may be needed during critical simulation events. Travel to other sites may be required based on operational needs.
Expected Salary:
$80,000-$90,000 commensurate with education and experience
