    Position Summary:

    The Clinical Resource Nurse is a professional nurse who serves in a collaborative role with the department nursing staff to provide continuing education and support quality improvement and practice initiatives.

    Essential Duties:

    • Perform direct patient care and patient education to patients ages 18 to greater than 100 years in our South End Dept
    • Participate in QI activities
    • Coordinate orientation of new nurses to the department
    • Collaborate with the Operations Manager developing/advancing medical assistant practice
    • Conduct weekly chart reviews with new nurses for their first 3 months of employment and report this information to the RN Manager
    • Provide clinical input to the RN Manager to complete 3 month review of new RNs, development of goals, and annual performance appraisal
    • Support nursing implementation and maintenance of transitions of care

    Schedule will include evening/weekend/holiday rotation

    Qualifications & Requirements:

    • MA RN license and previous ambulatory care experience required
    • Minimum of 3-5 years licensed nursing practice experience in an ambulatory care practice setting.
    • Minimum of 2 years relevant management experience
    • BSN preferred or in progress
    • Excellent interpersonal and problem solving capabilities also required
    • English/Spanish bilingual skills preferred

    Compensation: starting at $44/hr up to $64/hr based on relevant experience
