This flexible, per-diem role is ideal for licensed nurses who want to gain or expand their experience in clinical research while contributing to studies that make a global impact. You will lead and support research activities, ensuring participant safety, protocol compliance, and high-quality data collection, all while working alongside a skilled and collaborative team.Responsibilities:Serve as the charge nurse during assigned shifts-coordinate staff assignments and provide clinical oversightGuide participants through study protocols and explain procedures to ensure compliance and comfortManage the informed consent process from enrollment through study completion in accordance with ICH/FDA regulationsPerform protocol-specific procedures including investigational product administration, phlebotomy, IV placement, ECGs, vital signs, and specimen collectionMonitor participant safety, assess adverse events, and ensure accurate documentationMaintain clinical protocol compliance and contribute to quality assurance effortsCollaborate with physicians, clinical teams, and support staff to provide exceptional research subject careMentor and support Research Associates and Phlebotomists during clinical shiftsUphold privacy standards, Good Clinical Practices (GCP), and company SOPs throughout all clinical operationsWhat We're Looking For:General understanding of GCP/ICH Guidelines and Codes of Federal RegulationsExcellent time management skills and must be able to prioritize workload.Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of MarylandACLS certification (or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire)Experience with IVs, phlebotomy, and investigational product administrationFamiliarity with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), ICH Guidelines, and FDA regulationsStrong time management, communication, and leadership skillsComfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentAbility to exert up to 50 lbs. occasionally and support physical clinical demandsPrior experience in a clinical research setting preferredWhy Pharmaron?Pharmaron is a premier service provider for the life sciences industry.
