Description

  • Establishes and maintains database files and progress reports for studies, projects, and programs.
  • Performs administrative duties such as assisting in maintaining study databases and files and scheduling study appointments.
  • Assists in developing and submitting papers, abstracts, manuscripts, presenting studies, and developing protocol manuals and data collection instruments.
  • Will participate in field visits.
  • Assists with the preparation of manuscripts, reports, and presentations including editing and formatting documents. Distributes manuscripts and reports to all scientific collaborators as required.
  • Assists with conducting actigraphy processing, scoring and analyses, and developing visual displays of quantitative information (especially related to sleep data).
  • Conduct feedback interviews and data entry.
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by the supervisor. This may include attendance of and participation in required training for the role.

HJF is seeking a part-time Clinical Research Assistant I to perform data collection and cleaning. The Clinical Research Assistant will assist the Research Associate with actigraphy processing, scoring and analyses, and developing visual displays of quantitative information. This is the first of four levels of clinical research assistants and works under the guidance and direction of senior staff.

This position will be in support of the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences' Consortium for Defense Psychology (CDP), which is based in Bethesda, MD. CDP strives to be the central hub for the Military Health System (MHS) in the development and implementation of training and education to clinicians of military-connected individuals.

This is a one year, part-time position scheduled for 21 hours per week.
