The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), Neurology Chair Office, is seeking a Clinical Research Administrator III in the central Neurology Research Unit. The position is responsible for administrative and financial oversight of departmental-sponsored research, as well as OnCore report analysis and junior clinical research staff training.

General Responsibilities

  • To act as a resource for faculty and staff regarding administrative duties for industry and sponsored clinical research.

  • To serve as an informational and referral resource for the clinical research community.

  • To work with necessary parties to identify compliance, legal, IP and business/financial risk.

  • To manage accounts across all studies as needed.

  • To process and analyze reports in OnCore, as needed.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Management and oversight of departmental-sponsored research accounts.

  • OnCore report analysis/research activity data analysis.

  • Advises PIs/study personnel on budgetary parameters and operational requirements of clinical studies.

  • Clinical trial account reconciliation and post-award management.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Annual Salary Range: $55,180 - $89,670

Bachelor''s degree in a related field and five (5) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) or Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) certification preferred.
