Job Title: Clinical Research Nurse (Part-Time RN)
Pay: $38.00 $45.00/hour
Hours: Tuesday Thursday required; Monday or Friday flexible | 8:00 AM 4:00 PM (24 32 hours/week, 3 4 days) Location: Chicago, IL 60637 (100% Onsite)

Overview

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to support clinical research trials focused on disease prevention, treatment, and population health. This part-time position combines direct patient care, clinical trial coordination, regulatory compliance, and research documentation.

Required Skills

Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license must be verified before submission.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
Knowledge of clinical research protocols, Good Clinical Practices (GCP), and patient care procedures.
Experience performing patient assessments, obtaining vital signs, and documenting medical histories.
Strong documentation, data management, and communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic medical records.

Job Description

Coordinate clinical research studies and patient enrollment activities.
Perform patient assessments, collect vital signs, document medical histories, and assist with specimen collection.
Maintain research records, study documentation, and regulatory compliance.
Monitor study progress, collect research data, and conduct quality assurance reviews.
Collaborate with investigators, research teams, and medical personnel.
Support IRB/FDA reporting, audits, inspections, and sponsor monitoring visits.
Ensure compliance with study protocols, SOPs, and federal regulations.

Preferred Skills

Previous clinical research or clinical trial experience.
Phlebotomy and IV placement experience.
Experience with Epic or similar electronic medical records.
Familiarity with IRB requirements and clinical research regulatory documentation.

Education Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Required.
Current, valid Illinois RN license Required.
