Location: UCHealth Memorial Hosp Central, Colorado Springs, CO
Department: SRSS System Quality
Work Schedule: Full Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
Shift: Days
Pay: $44.33 - $66.50 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant''s relevant experience
This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option
Summary:
Drives improvement activities related to regional and system patient safety and quality programming. Provides skilled data analysis and communication of opportunities for improvement to clinical teams. Mentors team members by demonstrating and providing advanced knowledge of job responsibilities. Facilitates activities related to patient safety and quality programming.
Responsibilities:
Drives positive change in patient care practices by supporting quality and safety strategic priorities and facilitating implementation of quality improvement initiatives in partnership with clinical teams.
Directs components of quality and patient safety programs, incorporating industry best practices, and ensuring regulatory requirements are met.
Assists with the development, implementation, and evaluation of departmental policies and procedures. Identifies key clinical quality and patient safety measures. Promotes the use of appropriate measures for clinical services.
Provides mentoring, monitoring, coaching, and evaluation of team members'' performance, especially in the areas of productivity and quality/safety management. Serves as a positive role model for team members by working with them to promote teamwork and cooperation.
Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Registered Nurse
Occupational Therapist - State Licensed
Licensed Physical Therapist - State
Licensed Speech Language Pathologist
PHARMACIST
Physician Assistant
Nurse Practitioner
Respiratory Therapist-State
Bachelor's degree in relevant clinical field.
2 years of Quality or Safety experience.
State licensure as Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, Speech Language Pathologist, Respiratory Therapist, Pharmacist, Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
Preferred: Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS).
Preferred: Master's degree in relevant clinical field.
