Clinical Pharmacist (Midnight Shift)

A leading acute care healthcare organization is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join its overnight pharmacy team. This position offers an excellent work-life balance with a 7 days on / 7 days off schedule, providing extended time off between rotations while working in a collaborative hospital environment.

The Clinical Pharmacist will play a key role in ensuring safe and effective medication management, supporting patient care teams, and performing both unit dose and sterile IV compounding responsibilities.

• Competitive pay: $55-$83 per hour

Responsibilities

• 
  
• Review and verify medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness
• 
  
• Prepare and dispense medications in accordance with hospital policies
• 
  
• Perform sterile IV admixture and compounding
• 
  
• Manage unit-dose medication distribution
• 
  
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams
• 
  
• Promote medication safety and regulatory compliance
• 
  

Qualifications

• 
  
• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BS Pharm) or higher
• 
  
• Active Delaware Pharmacist License or ability to obtain
• 
  
• 1-3 years of hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• 
  
• Experience with sterile IV compounding and unit-dose distribution
• 
  
• Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
•
