Description
We are seeking a Clinical Pharmacist specializing in rare disease management to join our team.
This full-time position is based in Pittsburgh, PA, and requires onsite presence.
The role focuses on optimizing medication therapy and ensuring seamless care for patients with rare diseases.
Requirements
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited pharmacy school
Active pharmacist license in good standing with the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a specialty pharmacy setting, with a focus on rare diseases preferred
Strong knowledge of specialty pharmacy operations, including workflow design and program implementation
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Willingness to obtain and maintain additional Pharmacist State licensure(s) as requested
Qualifications
Experience supervising and training pharmacists and pharmacy technicians
Strong commitment to patient care and quality assurance
High level of independent judgment, individual initiative, and time management skills
Ability to communicate effectively in a clear, logical, and consistent manner
Experience managing and leading pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in a specialty pharmacy setting
Multi-state pharmacist licensure preferred
CPR or similar pharmacy system experience preferred
