Orlando Health is seeking a dedicated Clinical Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team and play a vital role in optimizing patient outcomes through safe and effective medication management. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care in a collaborative healthcare environment.

The ideal candidate is committed to clinical excellence, patient safety, and continuous learning. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will apply your clinical expertise to medication therapy management, patient care initiatives, pharmacokinetic monitoring, medication safety programs, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and dispense medications and intravenous therapies in accordance with Orlando Health policies and best practices.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized pharmaceutical care plans.
• Perform clinical pharmacy services, including pharmacotherapy and pharmacokinetic consultations.
• Evaluate and address clinical alerts within the electronic health record, including renal dosing adjustments and IV-to-PO conversions.
• Participate in medication safety initiatives, adverse drug reaction reporting, and medication error prevention.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document clinical interventions and patient care activities in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Provide drug information and medication education to healthcare professionals, patients, and families.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds as applicable.
• Maintain compliance with all Orlando Health policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required.
• Current Florida Pharmacist license required.
• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient care skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
