Responsibilities:

USA Health’s Spiritual Health and Counseling Department is seeking qualified ministry students and clergy for Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) internship opportunities.

 

Clinical hours are available through USA Health in partnership with an approved internship agreement through either the Clincal Pastoral Education International (CPEI) or Association for Clinical Professional Chaplains Education (ACPE).

 

This is an unpaid internship.

 

Provides hands-on clinical ministry experience within a dynamic healthcare environment, including opportunities for pastoral care, interdisciplinary collaboration, crisis response, spiritual assessment, and compassionate presence with patients, families, and staff.

 

 

 

 

Additional Information:

Employees must be in a regular position, working 20 hours or more per week (.50 FTE or greater) to qualify for benefits.  This position is not eligible for benefits.  

Qualifications:
  • Ministry experience required

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher required

  • Enrollment in or affiliation with a CPEI or ACPE program required

  • Strong interpersonal, spiritual, and communication skills

  • Ability to function within a diverse healthcare setting

  • All interns at USA Health must successfully complete a criminal background check, along with a  health and drug screening.
