As a Provisional/Licensed Clinical Therapist, you will provide individual, family, and group therapy services while conducting assessments, formulating diagnoses, developing treatment plans, and coordinating care for individuals experiencing mental health and substance use concerns. You will utilize evidence-based interventions, collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment teams, respond to crisis situations, and support clients in achieving their treatment goals through person-centered, recovery-focused care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual, family, group, and other therapeutic counseling services based on client needs and treatment goals.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, screenings, and diagnostic evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Facilitate group counseling, group education, family therapy, trauma-informed services, and co-occurring treatment interventions.
• Develop and update treatment plans that reflect client progress, strengths, needs, and recovery goals.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment teams to coordinate care and ensure effective service delivery.
• Respond to crisis situations and coordinate emergency interventions when needed to support client safety and stabilization.
• Provide case consultation, clinical guidance, and evidence-based treatment recommendations to team members when appropriate.
• Document assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, progress notes, and other clinical services in accordance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Assist clients through transition and discharge processes by completing required summaries, plans, and correspondence.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients, referral partners, community resources, and colleagues while representing the organization professionally.
• Support organizational goals, quality improvement initiatives, and other duties as assigned by leadership.

Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related behavioral health field required.
• Must hold provisional licensure with the applicable professional licensing board.
• Acceptable credentials include: Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), or Provisionally Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (PLMFT).
• Must be able to obtain full licensure with the applicable board of professional registration, including completion of clinical supervision requirements and licensing examination.
• Training and demonstrated knowledge of diagnostic criteria, treatment interventions, and recovery principles related to mental health and substance use disorders required.
• Thorough understanding of counseling methodologies, rehabilitation principles, and behavioral health treatment practices preferred.

Additional Qualifications:

• Current driver's license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance required.
• Must be willing and comfortable providing telehealth services; training will be provided.
• Must be willing to become licensed in additional states when required.
• Must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to establish effective therapeutic relationships through in-person, telephone, and telehealth interactions.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Must be able to follow direction and accept clinical supervision.
• Successful completion of background checks, including criminal record, driving record, and abuse/neglect screenings.
• Must attain First Aid certification within three (3) months of beginning employment and maintain certification upon renewal.
• Must attain CPR certification within three (3) months of beginning employment and maintain certification upon renewal.
• Knowledge of community resources, behavioral health services, and treatment coordination practices preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Perform primarily sedentary work involving exertion of up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and negligible force frequently to move objects.
• Remain seated for extended periods while completing documentation, telehealth appointments, and other clinical responsibilities.
• Occasionally stand and walk throughout the workday as necessary to perform job duties.
• Perform activities involving lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and moving objects within sedentary work expectations.
