    Clinical Operations Veterinarian (DVM) – North Carolina

     

    A veterinary organization is seeking a Clinical Operations Veterinarianto support multiple hospitals within a region. This role is ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys a mix of clinical work and leadership, with a strong focus on mentorship, collaboration, and operational excellence. This position offers the opportunity to remain hands-on in patient care while also guiding veterinary teams and contributing to the overall success of multiple practices.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Deliver high-quality medical care and perform procedures
    • Provide case consultations and clinical support to DVMs
    • Mentor veterinarians in areas such as surgery, dentistry, and case management
    • Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of veterinary staff
    • Analyze performance metrics and contribute to operational improvements
    • Ensure compliance with medical standards and regulatory requirements
    • Collaborate with leadership on scheduling, staffing, and hospital performance

    Qualifications

    • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree
    • Active veterinary license
    • 3+ years of clinical experience
    • Strong leadership and mentorship abilities
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
    • Willingness to travel between supported hospitals
