Clinical Operations, Policy & Standards Support Specialist
Duration: 12 Months (Hybrid) - Falls Church, VA
Seeking for a Clinical Operations, Policy & Standards Support Specialist to provide comprehensive program and operational support to the Office of the Chief Medical Officer. This role encompasses a wide range of activities, including project management, policy development, data analytics, training, and strategic communications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide project management and analysis support for clinical operations, policy, and standards initiatives.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and progress reports.
- Coordinate meetings and prepare agendas, notes, and follow-up actions.
- Conduct research to support policy development and revision.
- Draft, review, and update policy and procedural documentation.
- Perform data analysis and develop visualizations to support decision-making.
- Prepare executive decision briefs, presentations, and other leadership materials.
- Develop strategic communication plans and stakeholder materials.
- Support the creation of newsletters, announcements, and presentations.
- Develop training content and materials based on operational requirements.
- Support knowledge management activities and documentation organization.
- Coordinate correspondence management and ensure timely communication.
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and cross-functional discussions.
- Support conference design and logistics planning as needed.
- Collaborate with clinical, operational, policy, technical, and leadership stakeholders.
- Ensure deliverables are accurate, well-organized, and timely.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience with project management and coordination.
- Experience with communications strategy and planning.
- Strong experience in policy and procedure research, writing, and development.
- Experience developing training content and materials.
- Experience with data analytics and visualization.
- Ability to prepare executive-level reports and communications.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate with stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in healthcare, clinical operations, or military health programs.
- Experience supporting senior healthcare or medical leadership.
- Experience with conference design and logistics planning.
- Experience facilitating meetings, workshops, and stakeholder sessions.
- Experience with knowledge and correspondence management.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree required.
