Yale Medicine Administration is looking for a Clinical Operations Manager to join their team. Under the direction of clinic leadership, manages the planning, organization and daily operations of the clinical and administrative activities of Yale Medicine Managed Practices. Develops, implements, and monitors programs, policies and procedures to ensure the highest quality of patient care and satisfaction through operational efficiency, best utilization and productivity of staff. This position will oversee the Cheshire Primary Care/Internal Medicine and Wallingford Neurology/Orthopedics practices.
Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hrs., 8:30 AM - 5PM. Early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays may be required as needed. Recess period required.
Required Skills and Abilities
Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and advocacy skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with a wide variety of external/internal stakeholders..
Well-developed leadership and customer service skills to facilitate effective working relationships among support staff. Proven management and supervisory skills within a healthcare environment.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to identify, analyze and solve problems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office application.
Preferred Skills and Abilities
EPIC experience strongly preferred.

Health Requirements
This role is a healthcare worker position. Healthcare workers (HCW) are defined as university employees working a healthcare setting who have the potential for direct or indirect exposure to patients, human research subjects or infectious materials including body substance, contaminated medical supplies, devices and equipment, surfaces, or air. HCW have specific health requirements that must be met prior to starting work, including MMR vaccine or immunity, varicella (chickenpox) vaccine or immunity, TB screening, COVID vaccine according to University policy, hepatitis B vaccine or immunity, and annual flu vaccination.
