Job Summary:
The Clinical Operations Manager (RN) at Healthcare Services will be responsible for the oversight and management of clinical staff, including nurses and medical assistants. They will work in collaboration with the Operations Manager (in a dyad partnership) and Practice Managers at all locations and areas (eg: Stephen Klein Wellness Center/SKWC, Pathways, Hub of Hope, Mobile Medicine and Street Medicine) to develop and implement staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and optimal patient care. This role is critical to ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services, maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations, and enhancing patient care experiences. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Supervision: Provides direct supervision and conducts annual performance evaluation for the Medical Assistant Supervisor, the Stephen Klein Wellness Center (SKWC) Lead Nurse and the Mobile Clinic Supervisor
Collaboration: Collaborate with the Operations Manager and practice managers to establish staffing schedules, update workflows and policies, and ensure consistent adherence across teams
Culture: Fosters a collaborative and supportive team environment
Safety Reviews: Perform supervisory reviews of patient safety incidents related to the nursing and/or medical assistant team
Program Oversight: Provides oversight and management for the day-to-day responsibilities of the Intensive Nurse Care Management Program. Works closely with Directors for all departments (eg: Medical & Behavioral Health) to determine goals, metrics, and drive results.
Workflow Development: Oversees development and implementation of clinical workflows for nurses and medical assistants to enhance efficiency and patient care quality
Status Maintenance: Develops and maintains relevant activities to achieve Patient Centered Medical Home Status.
Quality Improvement: Participates as a member of the Quality Improvement Committee and contributes to quality metrics and patient safety goals and performance.
Care Coordination: Serves as the primary care coordinator between the patient, other healthcare services areas (eg: dental, pharmacy), other services (eg: residential, case management) and other entities (eg: hospital connections, visiting nurse agency)
Education and Experience Minimum Requirements: Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
5 or more years of prior experience as a nurse care manager
3 years of supervisory experience
Active RN license in Pennsylvania
BLS certification
What Experience or Qualifications You May Bring:
One or more years' experience working as an RN with the target population
Previous experience supervising MA teams
Previous experience working as an MA in a community health center
Experience with trauma informed care, person centered recovery, and harm reduction models
