About the Role:Essential Eyecare & Optical in Longwood, FL is looking for a dynamic and experienced Clinical Operations Manager to lead our primary care and vision therapy office. Responsibilities:- Oversee daily clinical operations for a primary care and vision therapy office, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows
- Lead, mentor, and manage clinical and administrative staff to maintain high standards of patient care
- Assist in scheduling, patient flow, and treatment planning support
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, HIPAA standards, and office policies
- Collaborate with optometrists and vision therapists to optimize clinical protocols and patient outcomes
- Monitor and manage inventory, equipment, and supply needs for clinical operations
- Track key performance metrics and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and patient satisfaction
Requirements:- 2+ years of experience in healthcare or clinical operations management, preferably in optometry or ophthalmology
- Strong knowledge of primary eye care practices and/or vision therapy programs
- Proven leadership and team management skills in a clinical setting
- Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems and medical office software
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance, billing, and insurance processes
