Bayhealth Medical Center is excited to partner with the University of Delaware School of Nursing to offer the Clinical Nurse Scholar Program, an exceptional opportunity for senior-level BSN students to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Program Overview:
- Designed for students entering their final year of nursing school
- Provides exposure to hospital operations, patient care processes, and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Includes rotational assignments, mentorship from experienced nurses, and professional development activities
- Serves as a pipeline for future RN roles at Bayhealth
Position Details:
- Location: Kent Campus Hospital
- Status: Relief (As Needed Hours)
- Shift: Variable
- Requirements: High School Diploma or GED; active enrollment in an accredited BSN program (senior year)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Completion of junior-level clinical rotations
- Strong communication and organizational skills
