Clinical Nurse Scholar

Bayhealth Medical Center is excited to partner with the University of Delaware School of Nursing to offer the Clinical Nurse Scholar Program, an exceptional opportunity for senior-level BSN students to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Program Overview:

• Designed for students entering their final year of nursing school
• Provides exposure to hospital operations, patient care processes, and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Includes rotational assignments, mentorship from experienced nurses, and professional development activities
• Serves as a pipeline for future RN roles at Bayhealth

Position Details:

• Location: Kent Campus Hospital
• Status: Relief (As Needed Hours)
• Shift: Variable
• Requirements: High School Diploma or GED; active enrollment in an accredited BSN program (senior year)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Completion of junior-level clinical rotations
• Strong communication and organizational skills
