Clinical Nurse (LPN) - Primary Care

A healthcare organization in New York City is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a promising Clinical position at one of their primary care facilities in Brooklyn.

About the Opportunity:

• Shift: DaY
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 9am to 5pm (Mon-Wed-Fri) and 9:30am to 5:30pm (Tues & Thurs)
• Setting: Ambulatory care center

Responsibilities:

• Provide professional nursing care under supervision for assigned patients in an ambulatory care setting
• Complete patient intake, screen walk-in and telephone patients, and route them to the appropriate services
• Perform clinical tasks including vital signs, venipuncture, injections, EKGs, PPD implants, and specimen labeling
• Assist the Physicians and medical staff with examinations, treatment procedures, chart preparation, and documentation
• Support patient flow, follow up on appointments and tests, and reinforce patient education and instructions

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of Nursing experience in an Ambulatory Health setting
• Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing
• NYS Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
• Experience working with the Pediatric population
