    Job Summary and Responsibilities

    As an Educator, you will be a vital contributor to the planning, coordination, and delivery of essential healthcare-related educational and training programs.

    Every day you will actively assist in scheduling and conducting diverse healthcare training programs. You will also provide direct coordination and/or instruction in various educational initiatives, ensuring effective learning experiences for all participants.

    • Ensures a professional and responsive atmosphere by greeting patients, visitors, staff, and physicians promptly and courteously. Refers to each individual by name when appropriate.
    • Demonstrates knowledge of the hospital's environment of Care plans and programs. Responds appropriately to all safety and emergency signals and notifications.
    • Demonstrates knowledge of State and Federal Regulations and JCAHO guidelines.
    • Demonstrates sensitivity to the customer's learning history and needs
    • Identifies barriers to learning and makes appropriate and sensitive adjustments accordingly.
    • Completes and documents a lesson plan based on assessments, focusing on all domains of learning. Performs ongoing assessment as indicated.

    Job Requirements

    Required:

    • Five (5) years recent related experience in the clinical area
    • Registered Nurse: CA, upon hire and
    • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and

    Preferred:

    • Bachelors Other Education, Nursing or related field and Education or instructor experience in the clinical area, upon hire and
    • Masters Of Science Nursing, upon hire and
    • Basic Life Support Instructor, upon hire or
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support, upon hire
