Job Summary and Qualifications
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator CNC ensures and delivers high quality patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unitdepartment during the designated shift. In collaboration with other members of the management team the CNC directs monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policiesprocedures serves as a resource person for staff and models a commitment to the organizations visionmissionvalues to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.
What you will do in this role
Demonstrates knowledge of human growth and development assessment range of treatment and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served.
Coordinates the daily flow of surgical cases on hisher respective shift.
Coordinates nursing process for patients undergoing procedures performed in department.
May function in circulating andor scrub roles based on job knowledge and experience.
Assists with ensuring customer needs are met staff MD Patient etc
Assists with maintaining an environment that promotes patient safety.
Participates in seeking ways to control costs without compromising patient safety quality of care and services provided
Demonstrates ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a productive manner.
Ability to adapt communication approaches to different members of the interdisciplinary team.
Serves as a clinical expert to staff and physician.
What qualifications you will need
Graduation from approved school of nursing
Current state licensureRN1 years perioperative experience as a Registered RN NurseCNOR preferred
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support required
